Delivering Energy Independence at Westbourne School, Chichester.
Earlier this year, we partnered with Westbourne School to deliver a 102.7 kW rooftop solar PV system—unlocking a new era of sustainability, reduced grid reliance, and lower electricity costs for the school community. Every project we deliver starts with listening. For Westbourne, our team designed a system tailored to the school’s unique infrastructure and operational needs. Safety, efficiency, and enduring value guided every decision—ensuring the installation supported the school’s sustainability goals without disruption to daily life.
Project Highlights
Westbourne School’s solar project features 236 QCells Q.TRON modules, harnessing advanced N-type cell technology and double-glass design to deliver up to 22.3% efficiency—all backed by a 25-year warranty for long-term peace of mind. Two SolarEdge smart inverters (SE66.6K & SE30K) provide real-time system monitoring and rapid fault response, while 236 SolarEdge S1400 optimisers ensure every panel performs at its best, even when shaded or soiled. The system is forecast to generate 111.5 MWh annually, avoiding 22.56 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year—the equivalent of planting 990 trees—and achieves a robust 88% performance ratio. This installation not only meets a significant share of the school’s electricity needs, but also demonstrates our commitment to technical excellence, ongoing client care, and measurable sustainability. Westbourne now enjoys reliable, low-carbon energy, delivering financial savings and environmental benefits for years to come.
