Delivering Clean Energy with a 323 kWp Solar PV Installation
Downham Leisure Centre is now achieving significant carbon reductions and energy savings following the installation of a 323 kWp rooftop solar PV system. This project demonstrates Your Eco’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-performance, future-proof renewable energy solutions for the UK’s built environment.
Project Highlights
System featuring 718 DMEGC glass-glass bi-facial modukes, each rated 450 Wp with 30 years of warranty, featuring 3D grid-connected design.
The bespoke design is supported by robust sunfixings flat-roof mount systems.
Forecasted annual generation of 346.99 MWh, acheiving a performance ratio os 90.05%
Offsetting 1,680 tonnes of CO2 annually- equivalanet to planting over 3,000 trees.
In total, 709 modules were installed across four roof spaces, including the main roof and edges, with layouts optimised to account for rooftop tilts and potential shading—maximising solar generation throughout the year.
The Downham Leisure Centre solar PV system delivers robust performance, with a total installed DC capacity of 889,220 kWh and a peak AC output of 266.64 kW.The PV system is fully integrated with the site’s electrical infrastructure, featuring a 3D grid-connected design. Two main isolation points enable safe disconnection of both AC and DC sides for inspection and maintenance, with lockable isolators positioned adjacent to the inverters.
