Your eco's wins at the great British Entrepreneurship Awards!

We are incredibly honoured to announce that Your Eco has been recognised with two prestigious accolades at the Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, held last night at Grosvenor House.

Sustainability Entrepreneurs of the Year

We’re especially proud to be recognised as one of the 2025 Sustainability Entrepreneurs of the Year, sponsored by Sherbet Electric Taxis. This award is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when businesses commit to genuine climate action and sustainable growth.

Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year

Our CEO, Nick Spicer, was named the 2025 Veteran Entrepreneur of the Year. As the judging panel highlighted, “Nick’s journey from military service into building a high-growth, purpose-driven clean energy company exemplifies the resilience, leadership and values that so many veteran entrepreneurs bring to the UK’s business community.”

Nick’s extensive experience—ranging from post-hurricane recovery in the Caribbean to earthquake-affected regions and remote African communities—has directly shaped Your Eco’s mission: using clean technology as a force for long-term, positive change.

Reflecting on the strengths that veterans bring to business, Nick shared:

“In the military, we’re trained to observe, orientate, decide and act, and to do it under pressure. That mindset has been invaluable in leading a business through uncertainty, complexity and rapid growth.”

We are also excited to share that the Great British Entrepreneur Awards will be profiling Nick in an upcoming founder series, and we’ll be filming an in-depth interview in early 2026 exploring his military background, leadership philosophy, and entrepreneurial journey with Your Eco.
