We were absolutely honoured to serve as headline sponsors at the Bristol Property Awards, held at Ashton Gate on 28th November 2025. The event marked a pivotal moment for both Your Eco and the wider Bristol property community, as the sector accelerates its journey towards net-zero.

Leading the Conversation on Decarbonisation
Our own Rowan Flint opened the event, sharing how Your Eco is fast becoming a key player in solar installation across the South West. Rowan highlighted our mission to decarbonise energy markets—an ambition that places us at the heart of Bristol’s property sector as it embraces sustainable solutions. Our partnership with YTL Developments, installing solar PV across domestic properties at the Brabazon development, showcases the real progress being made.
Addressing the Energy Crisis
Discussions throughout the day were dominated by the ongoing energy crisis and the urgent need to hit net-zero targets. It’s clear that more people are turning to solar PV and battery storage as practical, future-proof solutions. The sector’s appetite for innovation and sustainability has never been stronger, and Your Eco is proud to be at the forefront of this transition.

Celebrating Hope Hopkins – A Rising Star
A particular highlight was celebrating our Project Manager, Hope Hopkins, who was nominated for the Rising Star category. Since joining us as a junior project manager in April 2024, Hope has demonstrated exceptional growth and leadership. Her work on NHS hospital installations across Cornwall is set to generate 206 MWh of clean energy annually, cutting nearly 40 tonnes of CO₂ each year and supporting the NHS’s carbon reduction commitments.
Hope’s achievements don’t stop there. She delivered the 2 MW MDL Marinas project in Plymouth—one of the South West’s largest commercial solar installations—ahead of schedule and within budget. She also played a key role in the national rollout of GlaxoSmithKline’s solar programme, helping to drive decarbonisation and operational resilience.
Raising the Bar in Project Delivery
Hope’s ability to coordinate multi-site projects, manage complex supply chains, and uphold the highest health and safety standards has set a new benchmark within Your Eco. Internationally, she contributed to the British Virgin Islands STEP Programme, delivering bespoke solar PV solutions for local resilience post-Hurricane Irma. Closer to home, Hope managed a technically demanding 125.55 kW installation at a Northamptonshire Health and Fitness Club, overcoming complex rooftop layouts to deliver a system now producing over 105 MWh of clean power each year.
Looking Ahead
The Bristol Property Awards reminded us just how far the sector has come—and how much potential lies ahead. As we continue to work with partners like YTL and celebrate the achievements of team members like Hope, Your Eco remains committed to driving meaningful progress towards a low-carbon, energy-independent future.
